Lately I’ve realized how important it is to start off your morning in the most relaxed way possible. Typically my morning starts off very sluggish and then ends with me rushing in one task or another. Naturally I’m a procrastinator and tend to put things off to the last-minute but those mornings that I’ve been able to just sit down and actually eat breakfast have been wonderful and then I kind of feel like I have my shit together for the rest of the day. Just as equally I’ve learned the importance of having a general nightly routine as well. Give yourself the proper time to clean your make-up off your face, to brush and floss, get clothing options out for the next day and some time to really relax before going to bed to help reduce those smothering thoughts. As much as I want to try new things and take some risks I’m also starting to discover the value in a bit of stability.
