Day 20 - Driving.
I've been a commuter via public transportation for the past two or three years now and have really been able to understand the system and how everything works. However I've also discovered how much time public transportation can take out of your day and that it can be unreliable. Trips that take a half hour by car could extend to an hour and a half to three hours of there's no direct connection between your starting place and destination. I need 22 to bring me a driver's license. Not just for my own freedom and independence (which I desire so much) but also because that opens up so many more job opportunities for me and that's definitely something I need!
Day 21 - Get plenty of sleep.
I know I've of the first posts that I had was to start establishing routines including night time routines and then mentioned napping but I don't think I stressed the importance of sleep. I'm somewhat of a night owl. I love the peacefulness that comes with nightfall or the excitement depending on the season and day of the week. However in entering this new adult phase in my life I realize that having a 9-5 job and staying up until 2 in the morning just do not work. Last night I got a full 8 hours of sleep and today I just feel so much better. I have my head on straight, I'm relatively calm and ready to take on my day. Sleep is so magical.
Tomorrow!!!
